Semalam org in rush masa tulis entry...
tak sempat share much detail and tips about tailoring works..
brides slalunye akan anta baju nikah diorg utk tailor kan...dan sewa baju2 lain...
tp nowadays, ramai bride yg anta tailor, or request designer buat baju for recpetion and bertandang gak kan....


FYI, my mom used to be a tailor...
so, i know a lil bit about how tailor charges for their job..
it depends on the fabric type-susah potong atau jahit ke.....
and baju design...


for my baju, org anta kat tailor kat kg jek...
harga kg usually lebey murah...
as example, jahit baju kebaya kat town cost RM60 to RM120
tp...in my kg...i can get as low as RM30 for baju kebaya...
so, if u oll ade kg halaman..try cari tailor kg yg boleh jahit baju pengantin...


nevertheless, this idea ade pros and cons...
pros- can cut ur budget..
cons-takut tailor job die tak sedap di badan u oll....
so, org sarankan begini...
ape yg org buat, org try anta satu baju (baju raya ke...baju saja2 ke..) kat tailor yg korg berkenan ni...
suh die buat satu baju fesyen (bukan baju kurung ok...)
then, bile da siap, try fitting and guna baju tu sbg rujukan tailor tu utk ur wed drsss..
nak hujung lengan besar ke..kecikkan this part, besarkan that part dsb..atau kekal pada template baju tu..
(tailor kata...slalu customer diorg kata, fitting and tailor work become better after 2 kali anta..)
tp the best options...still hanta ur dress ke tempat yg u oll biase jahit....so, tailor tu mesti fhm n biase dgn kehendak korg..


i think the tailoring cost especially for nikah is cheap (RM60) coz i used simple easy-sew fabric..
corded lace...and org buat kurung moden je out of that..
baju reception plak cost a lil bit tp still murah (RM140)..
material heavy beaded lace - mmg kain susah jahit...that's why i request plain dress je out of that..


tapi itu citer lain...tapi hari ini...
org nak share wif u oll....
which tailor work is better??
pertama-beli fabric heavy beaded and anta tailor..atau...
kedua-beli plain fabric,anta tailor, buat patchwork& beading....


personally, org suka idea ke-2...
dptla baju ala2 designer....berangan** kah3..
tp..since malsa nak pk, nak anta tailor, nak anta patchwork, beading....
mcm mengambil proses yg lama plak...
so, pilih je 1st idea tu...


budget wise....hmm...??
let's do the calculation together..(utk baju nikah..)
harga ni lebey kurang la ekk..


idea pertama:
beli fabric heavy beaded or embroidery: harga ikut fabric & kemampuan : RM200-RM2000++ sepasang
anta tailor: harga ikut jenis kain dan design baju: RM100~RM500++


idea kedua...
beli plain fabric: plain chiffon: ~RM220 [sepasang (4m) + lining chiffon (4m)], or tulle: ~RM250 (3m tulle + 4m satin)
**tulle need more patch& beading work baru cantek...
hantar tailor: RM60~RM200
(kalo ade bagi harga lebey mahal dari Rm200), da kire mahai la tu..jgn tertipu...kah3-melainkan korg punya design baju melampau2...hik3)
hanta patchwork and beading....RM200-RM500++...(ikut design...)


so....ade kan rough idea how much tailoring work cost..???
so..make a wise choice according to ur budget....(^_^)
