The Breakfast Story Today - The Turquoise Dress DIY
Ramai mintak tutorial to DIY the fabric flowers....
But so so sorry dear....
Saya tak DIY fabric flowers tu....Saya beli da siap di GM Klang...
GM Klang tu berhadapan Jusco Bukit Tinggi...Boleh google okeyh...
Saya tak ingat kedai yg mana....
Kebetulan saya nak beli swarovski, saya jumpa flowers tersebut di kedai berhampiran.....
the DIY detailing...
Saya susun2 bunga tersebut pada baju....
3x percubaan saya buat....
Baju siap jahit pada 15sept,
asalnya baju ini kosong tanpa sebarang detail..
detailing percubaan pertama dibuat from 18 to 21 sept...
Mula-mula saya patch kan border lace, put fabric flowers here & there...
sewed some swarovski beads....tgk hasilnya.....
cantek...but the dress doesn't resemble me..
it looks too vintage & old-english style...
tak suka.....~
Saya bukak balik semua...
Percubaan ke-2 saya buat from 23 to 25 sept...
i skip the border lace....skip the beads....
just used fabric flowers.....
i put some on my left shoulders....the rest on the right hips...
just like this sketch...
simple but nice....just like me...
so, i'm pretty sure this was the look that i wanted....
until.....
my bros came back home on 29th Sept.....and said..
"nampak biase....plain sgt....kena letak beads baru cantek....flowers tu harus nampak mewah"
Die bg idea itu & ini...seharian brainstorming dgnnya...Saya terpengaruh...
So, i did exactly as he said....
tapi masa tak byk da kan....??
Saya start jahit pada 30 sept, **sehari sebelum nikah....
Pukul 7 pagi jahit...pukul 8 lebih siap....
set time sbb lepas ni perlu jahit veil pula....
dan ade byk lagi keje kenduri lain...
unfortunately, beads pon da habis....
oh, at that time...
how i wish i have more time & enough beads.....
if only i have more than a month to touch up this dress...
i'm sure the outcome will be much much better...
but this one pon look okey kan for an hour job??? hehehehe....
